inLIFE AI Fair Usage Policy — Version 1.2
Effective date: 19 August 2026.
1. Purpose
This policy keeps the service reliable and monthly pricing predictable. It forms part of the Subscription Terms. Allowances belong to the Client business account as a whole and are shared by all authorised users. There are no automatic usage-overage charges.
2. Included monthly allowances
Business Intel — £119 per month plus VAT
- 500 live Website Chat conversations;
- 1,000 Business Assistant questions;
- two completed Competitor Watch comparisons; and
- no automated monthly articles, Content Studio or IRIS entitlement.
Business Intel + Content & IRIS — £199 per month plus VAT
- 1,000 live Website Chat conversations;
- 2,000 combined Business Assistant and IRIS questions;
- four completed Competitor Watch comparisons; and
- two articles.
The package and effective allowances are shown in the portal. A price or allowance change does not apply to an existing paid period without notice and any consent required by the Subscription Terms.
3. What counts
- A Website Chat conversation counts when a real visitor starts a live conversation through an activated widget. Labelled portal previews and inLIFE installation checks do not count. A technical retry is not counted twice.
- A Business Assistant or IRIS question counts when the private assistant accepts and processes a user request. Voice and text share one allowance. A retry caused by the platform is not counted twice.
- An article counts when a new Client article is prepared during the billing period, whether left for review, scheduled, published or later discarded. Retrying the same failed preparation does not count again. An item removed before completion because the platform could not prepare it does not count.
- A Competitor Watch comparison counts only when a requested comparison finishes successfully. A failed or interrupted comparison does not count. Each comparison may cover up to six monitored businesses. Reopening or refreshing a saved report does not use another comparison.
inLIFE may correct an obvious metering error. The Client can ask inLIFE to review usage it reasonably believes is inaccurate.
4. Billing period and carry-forward
Usage resets on the Stripe billing date, not necessarily the first day of a calendar month. Unused questions, conversations, courtesy allowance and articles expire at reset and do not carry forward. More users do not multiply allowances.
5. Warnings and courtesy allowance
At approximately 80%, the portal warns Client administrators and may notify inLIFE administrators. At 100%, inLIFE normally provides a temporary courtesy allowance of up to 10% for Website Chat and private-assistant usage. It is discretionary, does not roll over and is not an extra contracted allowance.
The portal shows usage and upgrade options. inLIFE never adds a paid boost or charges an overage without an authorised Client administrator’s confirmation.
6. When an allowance is exhausted
At the hard limit:
- Business Assistant and IRIS may pause until renewal or upgrade;
- Website Chat changes to a branded contact handover so visitors can still send an enquiry; and
- the latest saved Competitor Watch report remains available, but another comparison waits until renewal or a separately agreed higher allowance; and
- scheduled or previously approved actions follow their existing approval and entitlement rules, but no extra article allowance is created.
Administrators can buy an available boost or ask about Business Pro. Ordinary users do not see commercial limits or billing controls unless they are also administrators.
7. Add-ons
- Article Boost — £39 per month plus VAT: adds two articles, taking Content & IRIS from two to four. Four is the absolute monthly maximum and the boost is not available with Business Intel alone.
- Assistant Boost — £25 per month plus VAT: adds 1,000 combined Business Assistant and IRIS questions.
- Website Chat Boost — £39 per month plus VAT: adds 250 live visitor conversations.
- Business Pro: individually agreed higher allowances and pricing.
Recurring boosts share the main subscription cycle and continue until removed under the checkout and cancellation information shown in the portal. Add-on allowances do not carry forward.
8. Prohibited or excessive use
The service must not be used to break the law, infringe rights or create deceptive, abusive or harmful material; send spam or unlawful direct marketing; probe, attack, overload or bypass security or usage controls; share accounts to avoid limits; resell access without written agreement; generate artificial consumption; submit credentials, card data or unnecessary sensitive data in ordinary chat fields; or copy the platform to build a competing service in breach of the Subscription Terms.
High usage within a purchased allowance is not, by itself, a breach.
9. Protecting service availability
inLIFE may apply proportionate rate limits or temporarily restrict a feature when usage threatens security, availability or another tenant. Where reasonably possible, inLIFE will contact the Client, explain the reason and help resolve legitimate use. Emergency security measures may apply without advance notice.
10. Policy changes
inLIFE may clarify counting, improve security or reflect a feature name without reducing a paid allowance during its current period. A material reduction or new restriction will be notified in advance and handled under the Subscription Terms. The accepted version is recorded with the Client account.
